Steel situation today

Due to air pollution control measures, Tangshan independent steel rolling enterprises limited production from June 5 to 13. It is reported that the billet adjusting steel plant implemented more measures to stop production on the evening of the 4th, which affected 57700 tons of daily output and increased 33500 tons compared with yesterday. Now the operation rate of billet adjusting steel enterprises in Tangshan area has dropped from 59.57% to about 22%.

Impact on billet: the independent rolling mill stopped production in a large area, the daily demand for billet decreased synchronously, and the support for billet price weakened in a short period of time. However, due to the sustainable production of rolling mills outside Fengrun District, the overall supply and demand of billet for take out is still less than demand.
